The Troyeville and Kensington Fan Village is planning a Flea Market selling local arts, crafts and designs during the World Cup 2010 event. All Market Place products comply with the FIFA trademarks restrictions to be put in place during this time…

Troyeville, is walking distance from Ellis Park and 20 -25km from O.R. International. The area will be buzzing with activity during this period with:

• the Hotels,
• Lodges,
• bed and Breakfasts,
• and home stays
• already booked while venues organizing cultural activities.

The Market Place is one of the components of the Troyeville and Kensington Fan Village, and will trade from 10 June 2010 until 12 July 2010. It is estimated that approximately 100 000 people will be traveling to and from the stadium on the seven match days during the 2010 Soccer World Cup.

The Market Places will be occupying two venues, with over sixty indoor stalls and booths is located diagonally opposite each other:

• The old GemBioscope (an industrial space)
• and the Red Line Gallery on the picturesque border of Troyeville and Kensington.

Most of the stalls are hosted by the GemBioscope a 1941 art deco cinema while high end craft is in the Red Line Gallery a 1902 Edwardian residence and is home of the Tourist Hospitality Centre and fewer stalls
