The National Credit Act was instituted in June of 2007 to offer credit debt solutions to people who have financially over-extended themselves. Make sure that you have all the necessary documentation ready before applying for credit debt couselling. You will need a copy of you South African ID as well as proof of income or salary slips going back at least six months.
