Red-i-Laser makes their Red-i unit for most handgun calibres, from .17 to 700 Nitro. But what is the Red-i unit?
The Red-i unit is a cartridge shaped like a live round and it is inserted into the chamber the same way. However, inside is a high-precision laser powered by a battery, which is activated when you close the bolt. The laser beam shines down the barrel and onto you target in the spot where the live round would strike, helping you to zero your rifle or set your sights or your rifle scope. We make the Red-i unit for the majority of handgun calibres and we make one-off calibres too.
