Kärcher’s outdoor cleaning equipment has been designed to cover a wide range of applications, some of which are for domestic use and others for commercial and industrial jobs. Many of the domestic applications involve the use of high-pressure water, and this can be used for such jobs as:

But how does the domestic high-pressure cleaner work? The pressure washer receives water from the domestic supply at about 4 bar, and this pressure is increased by the internal pump to 150 bar (2200psi). The pressurised water is expelled from the machine through a nozzle that delivers an intense and concentrated jet of water that has considerable cleaning power. Using an outdoor cleaning pressure washer actually saves water – a garden hose uses up to 3500 litres an hour, whereas a pressure washer, because of the fine jet, uses only 400 litres an hour.
Many of Kärcher’s outdoor cleaning machines are designed for a more professional use, and can be found in commercial and industrial environments.
